weight loss water fasting for 40 days?

this would mean only drinking water for 40 days.
please don’t tell me its unhealthy, because i have read up on it alot, at it seems to actually be very good for peoples health.
the only problem is i couldn’t find ANYWHERE that said how much weight you would lose?
i’m 5’3, female and 126 lbs. how much do you think i would lose? thanks.

    weight loss water fasting for 7 days?

    i’ve gained alot of weight over winter and i feel really uncomfortable, i’m wanting to get back in shape so im kicking of my diet with a 7 day water fast.

    does anyone know how much weight i will lose?

    i’m 5’3 and 128 lbs, i used to weight around 114 :/

        How is a good way to loss weight fast?

        i want to lose some weight in a few weeks, but i no all the basics and i have been doing them(drinking water, exercise ect.) but i havent lost anything and i have cut down on sugary foods too. HELP

            Going on a FAST for weight loss?

            I should probably consult with a doctor about this, but yahoo! answers hardly fails me, so…

            I am 18 years old in college and 200 pounds and a guy who is 5’7", just FYI. I have been struggling with my weight for quite some time now. Last semester, I put a lot of hard work into it, and it certainly helped, but not enough. Then, over the holiday break, without good cooking options (long story), I was restricted to fast foods; furthermore, I couldn’t get to a gym. So I lost a lot of my work I had done. I know I need to persevere and work even harder, but I have started thinking about fasting in order to aid me with this process.

            I’ve been told that fasting pretty much resets your metabolism, and weight loss becomes much easier to facilitate, especially with changes in appetite. I am seriously considering this sometime in the near future.

            1. Has anyone ever fasted before?
            2. Do you know anyone who’s fasted before?
            3. How long should I fast in order to achieve desired results?
            4. What should I supplement myself with? Obviously lots of water, but what kinds of juice or vitamins?
            5. Should I exercise when I’m fasting?
            6. Basically, how can I go about this in the most healthy and beneficial way?

            And if you have any other pearls of wisdom or web links, please share them. Thanks!
            Can I still drink green tea? I am addicted to caffeine, and I am unwilling to quit it. I have even quit caffeine before for about 3 months, but you can noticeably tell a difference, and with life the way it is, I need to be alert and energized.

              Fast weight loss, $500 if I win?

              Lemme start out by saying I’m broke. I’m really, really broke.

              There’s this competition going on at my gym to see who can lose the highest percentage of body weight in 60 days.

              I need to win.

              I’ve been trying to lose weight for about 2 years, and recently gained like 15 pounds. (yikes, I know..)

              My stuff=
              age: 16
              gender: female
              height: 5’4"
              weight: 150lbs
              activity: light/medium (I go to the gym every day for 1-1.5hrs, but apart from that I’m sitting around)

              I’m aiming to lose 15 pounds in the next 16 days, but I’ll be happy with 10.

              How many calories do I need to eat to lose that weight? I don’t care if it’s **really low**, it’s just for 60 days. So anything above 600 and less than 1000 is fine with me.

              Yes, I know that’s unhealthy, but I NEED TO WIN. And when it’s over I’ll start eating a "healthy" amount of calories.
              How much water should I drink?
              Do slimfast shakes work?
