Green Tea Weight Loss Benefits

Like most folks, I could stand to lose a few pounds. I do my best as far as diet and exercise go, such as trying to make healthy food choices whenever possible and jogging or doing other cardio workouts at least 5 times per week, but apparently that’s not enough to get rid of some of my belly fat. After doing a bit of reading about green tea weight loss properties, I’ve decided to work this beverage into my daily routine to see if I’ve finally found the missing element.

Some people are already aware of the many proven green tea weight loss benefits, but quite a few aren’t. After all, if everyone knew how much this refreshing drink could help in the seemingly never ending quest to shed pounds, then we might see a change in sales figures within the beverage industry. Forget about diet sodas and those flavored teas loaded with sugar; people would board the green tea weight loss bandwagon in droves!

One of the most important green tea weight loss benefits for dieters is that it helps you burn more fat. This beverage contains large amounts of polyphenol, an antioxidant that has been shown to improve your health in many ways. For instance, polyphenols are good for your skin and might prevent wrinkles. Polyphenols are also a critical component for dissolving triglycerides, which are essentially the chemical form of fat after it is broken down in the body. In other words, you can help remove excess fat and perhaps even lower cholesterol as well simply by drinking a refreshing beverage. Read more……

Building muscle while losing fat=Frustrating process. PLEASE HELP!!?

I’m 5’8", female, 20 years old and weigh 139 lbs as of this morning. The thing is I weighed 138 yesterday. I did nothing during the day that would cause weight gain. And I know that it’s impossible for a woman to put on 1 lb of muscle overnight. I’m doing everything right (to the best of my knowledge anyway). I’m on a high protein, moderate carb, and low fat diet. I do boot camp 4-5 days a week which is a lot of weight training and compound exercises. I also do pilates 3 days a week. I’ve been doing this for about a month and there has been virtually no change in my weight. I weighed 144 when I started. And I’m not losing consistently. Some days I’ll gain a few ounces or a pound even and some days I’ll lose or I’ll stay the same. It’s a slow process. I look better overall but the only place where I really notice a difference is my hips. I’m not eating very many calories. I usually keep it under 950 cals a day. I know that’s considered undereating for a lot of people but I used to be anorexic so my metabolism is messed up. If I eat even 1500 cals a day I end up gaining weight. And I’m still maintaining or building with the amount I’m eating now. So what should I do to speed up fat loss? Drop my calories? I’m thinking of adding cardio a few times a week to speed things up. Any suggestions? What kind of exercise and for how long? Or is there a specific kind of food or supplement I should be taking? I want to weigh between 125-130 and be really toned and fit. What else can I do to make that happen and soon? And I’ve recently started eating more fruits but not enough to cause carb overload. Usually about 3 servings of fruit per day. Is that the problem? I heard that fruit isn’t conducive to weight loss. Thanks for reading and thanks for the help!

        More Than Weight Loss

Exercise is about more than losing weight. For example, a daily workout can help reverse or slow the loss of muscle mass and bone density brought on by aging.

Healthy weight loss vegetarian diet. I need advices?

Hello. I’ve been lacto-ovo vegetarian for about 7 years. Beside avoiding meat, I never really took care of my diet. No exercise either. I’ve been growing belly fat which i want to get rid off so I’ve recently been browsing through different websites to realize that my diet was wrong – I’ve been basically eating nothing but carbs for years. Again, I’m a complete dummy when it comes to diet but I think I’m getting even more confused than I was, they all suggest to have a "balanced" diet with enough fruits, veggies, dairy, fibers, carbs, etc. But what does that even mean?? Ok, I should eat this and that but on what frequencies? I don’t like cooking as well but I don’t mind eating boring raw food such as nuts, salad or whatever. I also started doing some cardio exercises and sit-ups. Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
