would you say a vegetarian diet would be easier to lose weight or a omnivore?

i got a answer on here about losing weight and i got wuite several saying a omnivore diet is healthier and would promote weight loss. lets say i didnt eat fatty meat just leans asa omnivore. who you say a vegetarian or a omnivore diet iss better for weight loss?
for all you people saying i dont need to lose weight i reccomend you go somethwere else because you obviously arent answering my Q correctly!

Where to Start with Weight Loss?

Okay, I am very very overweight……..mostly in my stomach and my chest….I already have man boobs….it’s so nasty. But I saw my reflection today while walking into work, and I all of a sudden became distraught and upset with how I look. I have very low self esteem, and I have trouble complementing myself when I look so horrible. I’m wondering if there is anyone out there who can help me or give me tips to start losing weight. What should be the first thing that I do. I don’t eat a lot of sweets, and I don’t eat fast food a lot either. I don’t think it’s my diet….but, it very well may be. So…..where do I start? I don’t know really what to do to be successful and be proud of myself. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Weight loss plan and diet for 17 year old male …?

I’m extremely serious about losing weight . Im 17 years old , male , 5’10-11 and my weights been going up and down between 224-230 . But i dont want to be in the 200′s , period . I havent been fat all my life i’ve been skinny for like 60% of my life , then i just started gaining weight . But im not happy with the way my body looks , im definitely to young to look like this (i dont look that bad im and ex football player) . I want to lose 50 pounds by march of next year . I dont want any BS weight loss schemes or pills . I want real effective tips, plans, workouts, and diets . Im willing to go the extra mile to lose this weight . Im leaving for college next year , and i dont want to start a new chapter of my life looking bad . I get winded going up stairs :( . I have man boobs and a medium sized stomach that sticks out like a beer belly . NOT COOL . I’d also like to gain more muscle . And how do i get rid of stretch marks ? Please . I have the will power , and im ready to get started . I heard targeted weight lose is impossible ? But i want to lose stomach fat , these man boobs , and tighten up my arms and thighs . I own a treadmill .

i'd like to lose 2lb per week but my plan of 1500 calories a day calculates as 1lb weight loss? help please?

okay i’m a female, 15 years old 5ft8 and around 150lbs. I’ve tried losing weight for years but always did stupid dieting and put the weight back on. So i’ve finally seen sense and am going to eat 1500 calories a day, and do around 30mins of some sort of cardio. However, if there are 3500 calories in 1lb of fat, and i am leaving 500 calories spare, that will make exactly 1lb or fat loss per week? however i want to lose 2lb per week not one! but i can’t eat any less than 1500 cals it’s just too hard as i’m growing and i have a horribly large frame to feed! pleaase help! how do i lose 2lb a week?

How many calories should I eat after weight loss?

My current goal is to lose about ten pounds (I’m not overweight, just looking to shape up a bit). I used an online calorie calculator that uses your height, weight, age, and activity level to calculate how many calories I should eat to loose 1 pound per week. The result was 1,205. My question, however, involves how many calories I should aim to eat after I lose the weight. The same calculator told me that to maintain the goal weight, I should eat around 1,800 calories! I don’t understand how I could go from eating around 1,200 calories and losing weight to 1,800 and not gain weight. Does this make any sense, or should I try to find another calorie calculator? Any recommendations?

For weight loss, 30 mins of jumprope or 45 mins of brisk walking daily?

I’m hoping to lose 10~15 lbs ASAP..hopefully by mid august?
and i’m doing okay with eating…but in terms of exercising im still pretty lazy XD
so i was wondering which would benefit me more with losing weight?
jumping rope for 30 mins a day?
or brisk walking for 45 mins a day?
and would it be best to do this early in the morning or later on in the day?
