Has anyone tried a detox cleanse which helps with weight loss?

    Hello,

I’ve been on a strict diet and exercise plan for about 3 months now. I’ve come to a point where I am starting to plateau, and I’d like to do a cleanse. I’d prefer to do one which doesn’t involve taking any pills.

Does anyone know of a good cleanse? Thanks :)
Makenna: I asked about a CLEANSE. I don’t need you to tell me to work out.. thanks.
EDIT: can I get some answers from REAL people please?

    Weight loss questions?

I am a girl in my late teens, 5"6. I was 185lbs at my heaviest.
I am now down to 151lbs, my lowest in about a decade, and have no intentions of resorting back to my old ways.

I have three questions to ask:

    1. Would I have been considered ‘repulsive and unattractive’ at my biggest?

    2. What do you think of my current size? (I don’t like using the BMI calculator, it seems to be off for a lot of people, and rather society’s opinion instead)

    3. Do you think I should lose more weight, and if so, how much, considering I’ve hit a plateau at this size, and am struggling to lose more. My current measurements are 40-30-41.

    Can anyone help my diet?

I weigh 248 pounds, and I have been working out lifting weights and doing cardio 5 days a week. I’ve been on a 2200 calorie diet and seem to have hit a plateau in muscle growth and fat loss. I think I am eating too little!!!

I think my body is going in starvation mode with me only eating 2200 calories, I calculated my daily needs as being actually 3500 calories since I am moderately active, but I want to use a 20% calorie reduction, so I want a daily target of 2700 to 2800 calories.

    I used the Katch-McArdle formula:

    370 + (21.6 * LBM (In KG))

my Lean body mass is 87.5 kilograms(193pounds) based on me having 22.3% BF and me weight 248 pounds.

That formula gives a Basal metabolic rate of 2260 calories. However you multiply it by an activity level of 1.55 (Moderately active) and it turns into 3503 calories. I also confirmed this with the Harris-Benedict formula which ignores LBM, and is only 70 calories off of this result!

Can anyone help me with a healthy balanced 2700 calorie diet

Am I right for my calorie needs?

Is weight loss exponential following the initial few weeks of an exercise regimen?

I am into my 4th week of a rigorous exercise program. So far, I haven’t noticed much weight loss. Will it accelerate once I build up some muscles, say by the 6th week? And then afterwards, does it plateau?

should I up my dose of ephedrine?

OK, I have come to a plateau, I need to do something and wanted to know if I someone with knowledge of ephedrine could take a look at my dosage and suggest if I should up my ephedrine or maybe suggest another combo?

PLEASE DO NOT PREACH to me about the negative affects of ephedrine, I’ve heard it all.

I make my stack with Primatene tablets, caffeine pills, aspirin. I have built up to (slowly and only added more when I hit a plateau I couldn’t break even with calorie reduction):
    2 tablets (12mg) ephedrine (primatene) = daily total 84mg
    1 caffeine pill (200mg) = daily total 600mg
    1 aspirin (81mg) = daily total 161mg
I do this 3 times a day, actually the first dose I take 3 primatene and the last dose I don’t take any aspririn.
I also take a multivitamin, a magnesium supplement, a potassium supplement and I drink an energy drink for the taurine and B-vitamins (SOBE Adrenaline rush has the most vitamins I can find)
I have researched which vitamins compliment these pills – potassium at the dose I take per day, which is just sold over the counter at the local Wal-Mart!
…try weed i think its safer. oh wait i think i get it, your anorexic, i see now…well if you want to lose even more weight just stop eating all together, why bother with the pills and such?

    Weed – YUCK!
Anorexic – look up the definition, I am 5 ft even and 129lbs – hardly anorexic
Pills – why not take some extra help?
I eat healthy, I do count my calories, if I hit a plateau I try to cut them some.
