Im wondering how many calories i need to be eating to lose weight?
Currently, I am 5’7 and 141 lbs. I want to get back to 130 lbs. I exercise (pilates, yoga, treadmill, bootcamp style workouts) 4-5 times a week for 1-1.5 hrs. Im also a waitress so im on my feet all day long. I want to lose a good 2 lbs a week so im just wondering how many calories i should be eating to do this?

Is this a good weight loss program?
I am 15, 65kg (my doctor says I should weigh 57kg) and I am currently on Weight Watchers, eating a healthy diet of 28 points a day.
This is my exercise program:
Monday: 1 hr at Gym – 30 mins of speed and incline intervals on treadmill, 20 mins whole body resistance, 10 mins random bike program.
Tuesday: 1 hr Yoga class.
Wednesday: 1 hr personal training.
Thursay: 1 hr swimming program.
Friday: 1 hr Gym – same as Monday.
Saturday: day off.
Sunday: 30 – 60 mins beach walk.
I also attend a very large school and walk A LOT of steps in a day.
So is this program good for weight loss?
Any suggestions or hints will help.
Thanks!

I weigh a little over 200 pounds and when I work out, I do it at moderate to high intensity.
Walking on treadmill 30 minutes
Elliptical Trainer 30 minutes
Stationary Bike 30 minutes
I’ve been following the plan for about 3 weeks and I have lost 10 pounds. I am OCD with details so I wanted to know about the activities points. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Weight loss/exercise, help!!!?
hey guys,
i am 17 female
so we just got a new avant treadmill and for the past 2 weeks i have been doing a half hour, sometimes 2 half hour weight loss programs everyday and i have put on 3 kilos!! ![]()
my diet is pretty good, i dont ever eat takeout and include alot of fresh fruit and vegies,
anyway i have come up with a diet plan and wanted someones opinion !
breakfast- porrige with honey
recess-nuts and seeds
lunch-apple, banana
afternoon tea- egg white omlette with ricotta cheese
tea-steamed fish or chicken, fresh capsicum, cucumber tomatoes, snow peas and carrot.
also drinking 2litres of water a day and 2 half hour weight loss programs which would mean i would be walking 24km a week! (1 hour everyday except sunday)
do you think it is possible to loose 10 kilos in 2 months strictly following this plan?
thankyou for any contribution

What is best for FAT loss.?
I have put the emphasis on the word FAT because I fear the loss of muscle and bone mass.
There is much controversy surrounding exercise and how it affects weight loss.
Will I lose more FAT if I weight train more or more cardio?
Presently, I go to the gym 4 times a week, 1 hour at a time. Every time I do 30 minutes of cardio (either on a recumbent bike or an elliptical machine) and 30 minutes of weight training and situps.
I am conflicted though on weather I should do more weight training. I have been losing weight slowly (wich I figure is good). Although I have only lost about 5 pounds in the past month and a half, I have seen some interesting results. I am more toned in certain areas.
Now I wonder, is cardio or weight training better for fat loss? Should I do one more then the other, rather then both equally when I go to the gym?
And in you opinion, when it comes to cardio, which is better:
The bike, the elliptical or the stairmaster. (I dislike the treadmill because it hurts my knees a lot)
I have never tried the stairmaster yet.

Good weight loss tips for the winter?
I would run, because I love running in the cold, but where I am there’s lots of ice and snow along the ground.
I would go on the treadmill, but our basement just flooded and that’s where it is,
I would go to the gym, but it’s a far and dangerous walk and our car can’t drive on the ice.
I know it probably sounds like I’m making up excuses, but I would love some other excerises that would help me stay in shape, even possible lose a few pounds, during the holidays.
(I don’t eat fast food, or anything very fatty)
No sarcastic comments, please.
Thank you, & Merry Christmas.
