Weight loss ideas? Hydroxycut or similar products?
I have to attend a wedding at the end of May, meaning I have a month so lose some weight, mostly off my belly. I had my baby girl 11 months ago and have been having problems losing the weight. I tried Yoga and working out but there isn’t a lot of time for Yoga with a baby running around, and I do not have a lot of energy to exercise everyday, not to mention I am not very flexible. I feel tired all day and I was wondering if maybe I should try a product like Hydroxycut or something like it. I looked at them yesterday and they are designed to curb appetite, increase energy, and help with weight loss. I was wondering if anyone has had success with these and if so which is best. Also, what are the best exercises to help lose belly fat?

Having three young kids myself, 6 year old, 5 year old, and 9 month old ive done my share of losing the baby weight and am 135 and 5’3, with 10 more lbs to go…so let me give you some pointers here from a tried and true experience. Not to mention i just met with my trainer last week and have this all fresh on my mind. If you have belly fat you need to do general cardio, cardio is what will burn the fat, it doesnt matter if you do 1000 situps a day, you will not get a tight tummy because you have to much fat on top the muscle, so tip one, burn the fat off… do at least 3 days of an hour cardio. hard cardio. Then do at least 3 days of hard toning. Or intermix the two and do at least 6 days of each 30 minutes each. Your yoga isnt cutting it, it is NOT cardio….and it will NOT take the fat off, it will only help tone what was left after you burnt the fat off, TRUST ME. Now, it doesnt matter how much exercise you do if you eat poorly. You need carbs since you are working out so do not try cutting out carbs, plus you need protein so you need to make your day count. Since you are trying to lose weight, focus your body on getting high fiber high protein. Make sure you get AT LEAST what your daily recommendation for each is, but i always attempt to at least do another halfs worth. Do NOT each more than 1600 calories a day , and make those calories COUNT. and COUNT your calories write everything down on the fridge, it really helps you realize that maybe you shouldnt eat that somthing extra tonight because you met your days calorie intake. Thats really all it is… its that simple really its just STICKING TO IT… thats hard. I joined a gym two weeks ago because i was trying to get it all done at home, and with three little ones, i just couldnt, so i joined a gym with a daycare so it allows me two hours of freedom PLUS im getting my workout.. so maybe try that? we couldnt afford it really, but i was not happy with my body or my sanity, and i figured a happy mommy makes a happy home, and its worked out great! I lost 9 lbs in the first two weeks and im thrilled… so just keep your head up, keep your goal in mind, and next time you want that snickers bar or mcdonalds think to yourself, which is more important, me feeling and looking good or that candy bar or hamburger… best of luck to you…!!!!

I take caffeine free hydroxy cut. I asked a doctor before i used it. As you should before taking anything. I lost a whole lot of weight. But I was actually working out in the gym 5 days a week. Alot of running. I lost 3 pounds the first week. then it slowed but I was still losing weight. I also drink alot of green tea and try to stay ative. Do not skip meals eating 6 small meals a day actually works. the more I ate ( healthy foods) the more I lost. It keeps your metabolism going strong. If you want to lose weight fast do alot of cardio no weights or small amounts this way you dont put on too much muscle which in the beginning will make you look a little chubby because of the muscle growth.

i used hydroxycut in combination with exercise everyday. If it is used properly it will help you loose weight. The best exercise is walking. Pop the baby in the stroller and go walking. Not only will it help you but fresh air is good for the baby.
Youngkush is completely correct, those pills have serious side effects, and if they truly worked they would be much more popular and be seen on oprah. I was going to take a similar pill a few years ago and consulted my doctor, he freaked out on me telling me how horrible they were, i highly advice you dont do it, and just do the hard work to lose whatever weight you need to.
I tried diet pills before and it was like being on crack. No sleep, way to much energy, loss of appetite, the jitters, heavy impatience. It just intensified a major caffeine high. I did not really loose weight until I did it right. I think whats written on the bottle of diet pills is what attracts people. It’s funny how they’ll lightly advertise "curb appetite" and increase "energy levels", instead of, "it feels like legal crack, try it, you’ll get hooked, loose your job and be an in home dope addick for less"! "Buy it at Walmart in the welfare lane!"
Your better off stressing yourself out mentally thru psychical activity instead of psyching yourself out your pockets. Throw some healthy bland tasting veggies ina bowl w/ out the cheese, x’n out the bread and pasta, no butter, excluding juice, right? I mean, that’s the fatty foods w/ lots of sodium and sugar right?

If you are breast feeding AT ALL, do NOT take any kind of weight loss supplement.
I see that you have to attend a wedding at the end of May. I don’t see why you have to be thinner to do so. This isn’t your wedding, all eyes won’t be on you, so there’s no reason to feel compelled to lose weight.
My suggestion to you is to incorporate the baby into your workout. You seem to think that baby = no time to workout because you have a "baby running around." Not so, my dear. Many new mothers take their babies with them on jogs, have baby-centered yoga time (there are DVDs for post-natal yoga), or have the baby in a play pen while they lift weights. There are many fitness models and female bikini competitors that are also mothers, and they find no trouble losing the post-baby weight. Don’t blame the weight on baby or anything/anyone else; once you start doing that, you’re a lost cause and you’ll always be fat and miserable.
There are no exercises to target just belly fat. Fat is lost by exercising and eating properly.
